About the Creator

Liminal Studio is being built by Drew Ray, a software engineer and lifelong creative.

By day, Drew works as a professional software engineer. Outside of that work, he has spent years writing poetry, drawing, painting, and building personal creative projects — often struggling with the same challenges many creators face: inconsistency, burnout, unfinished work, and the pressure to perform rather than simply create.

Liminal Studio began as a response to those challenges.

The idea wasn’t to build another social platform or productivity tool, but to create something quieter — a space that respects creative time, encourages completion, and treats process as something worth preserving.

This project is being developed independently and intentionally, without outside funding or growth pressure. Features are added slowly and deliberately, guided by real use rather than trends.

Liminal Studio is not meant to replace existing creative tools. It exists to sit alongside them — offering structure, reflection, and a sense of closure that is often missing from modern creative workflows.

If Liminal Studio helps even a small number of people trust their process a little more, it will have succeeded.
